The Tiger's Eye

The Tigers Eye is an emporium of silver jewellery, gemstones and mineral
specimens to delight, accompanied by ethnic musical instruments including
didgeridoo's, djembes, and shakers for fun.

Opened in 1993 by, "Who? Me!", Rod Carter, The Tigers Eye is now husband and wife business with Karen putting up with Rod's incessent bongoing and obscure, world music tastes.

Situated in the Red Lion Square, Hawkshead the most famous customer to date is Rolf Harris who bought a didgeridoo whilst staying locally during the filming of a television programme about Beatrix Potter in November 2007.
